项目摘要

本研究はヴィエトナム・フエ阮朝王宮の木造宮殿建築の修復・復原方法について、古写真の分析と三次元CGの制作を通してその方法論を確立を目指している。平成15年、16年度では、基礎情報の収集、古写真の画像解析による寸法復原方法の検討を行ってきた。本年度は、これまでの成果をもとに焼失した勤政殿の三次元復原CGの制作を中心課題として研究を進めた。CG制作はモデリングに重点を置き、市販ソフトのVector Worksとform・Zにて作業を進めた。モデリングにおいてはヴィエトナム宮殿建築の特徴的な部材をどのように造形するかが要点であるが、その過程において(1)胴張りを持つ円柱については、実測値から得られる曲線をもとに回転体を作成するとよい、(2)尻部から頭部にかけて断面寸法が拡大し、側面に膨らみを持つケオ(斜梁)は各点における断面形状を製作し、滑らかに連続化させる機能(ロフト処理)を用いるとよい(3)波状の立面をもつ束枕は、立面形状を柱状化し、その後側面にメッシュを貼り、膨らみを持たせるとよい、ことなどを発見した。一方で、現存する類似遺構を調査する際は複雑な部材について多くの断面寸法を取得する必要があること、CGでは回転体やロフト処理など実際の加工とは異なる方法で簡便に造形できるが,このことが実際の設計・加工技術と乖離していることに十分留意しておかねば復原の本来的意味を失うことになりかねないことなどの知見を得た。これらの作業を通して木部架構についてモデリング作業を終え、立体化して復原案の検討を行い、マッピングやライティングなどの今後の課題と指針を得た。併せて三次元データから短時間の動画を作成した。その他、関連する現存基壇の調査結果、伝統家屋の製作技法調査についても考察を行った。これらの成果は平成18年3月に行われた日本建築学会関東支部研究報告会にて発表した。
