项目摘要

秋田県八峰町において,サルによる農作物被害状況について聞き取りを行い,被害農家が猿害をどのように認識しているのか分析した.被害農家は,近年になって猿害が拡大したのは,自然保護団体・観光客などのよそ者が原因だとみなしており,彼らに猿害を引き起こす過大な力を想像している.猿追い上げボランティアは,田畑の見張りを交代してはくれるものの,頼りない準・身内とみなされており,その猿害減退能力は過小評価されている.このような認識のプレが生じるのは,自分たちに近いよそ者ほど,能力は低いはずとみなしがちな,地域住民の世界観が反映したからだと考えられる.研究成果は第79回日本社会学会大会にて発表し,第32回地域社会学会大会にて発表予定である.現在,論文を執筆中である.岡山県西粟倉村にて山の所有者が今後の村の展望をどのように認識しているか調べた.27名の山持ちに対し,各一時間程度の聞き込みを行い,問題点を搾り出した.生まれてから現在まで村を出ることがなく,山の管理を積極的に行ってきたものほど,よそ者の受入に否定的であること.村外に働きに出た経験があり,自身は積極的に森林管理を行ってこなかったものほど,よそ者の受入に肯定的であることが分かった.その背景のメカニズムを分析し,研究成果を第80回日本社会学会にて発表予定である.昨年度から行っていた,霊長類の密度と平均群れサイズに関する数理モデルの研究がPopulation Ecology誌に掲載された.屋久島と下北半島のニホンザルを比較した研究が学会誌に掲載決定,日本林業のレビュー研究が大学の紀要に掲載決定した.ナワバリ制に関する論文,秋田県八峰町のボランティアと地域住民の関係についての論文,猿追い上げボランティアによる猿害減退効果に関する論文を学会誌に投稿中,ないし執筆中である.
