1.発言抑制行動時の「意識内容」を確認すること目的として質問紙調査を行った。被調査者は全て大学生であった(調査1:482名、調査2:252名)。調査の結果、発言抑制行動時の意識内容として4種の内容が確認された。第一は相手の状態や周囲の状況をふまえた発言行動の適切さの検討に関わる「適切性考慮」、第二は発言後の悪い結果の予想に関わる「否定的結果懸念」、第三は発言行動に必要なスキルの乏しさの認識に関わる「スキル欠如」、第四は相手との関係を回避しようという意思に関わる「関係回避」であった。発言抑制行動時の意識内容と社会的スキルやコミュニケーションスキルとの関連をみると、スキルが高い者ほど発言抑制行動時に「適切性考慮」を行っており、こうした考慮が多い者ほど会話不満感が低かった。2.調査研究において確認された4種の意識内容間の順序性を検討することを目的として実験的検討を行った。実験にあたっては、4種の意識内容のうち2種ずつ順序性を検討することとし、初対面の二者間の会話場面を設定した上で、各意識内容に影響すると考えられる要因を操作した。従属変数としては、発言抑制行動の頻度の指標としての沈黙の回数と、発言行動に至る意思決定時間の指標として発言までの潜時を測定した。また、会話中に上記4種の意識内容が生起した程度の自己報告を求めた。まず、「適切性考慮」と「否定的結果懸念」の順序性を検討する実験を行った結果、発言行動までの潜時と沈黙の回数に関しては全体では一貫した結果が得られなかった。しかし、社会的スキルの程度を基に実験参加者を分割して分析した結果、スキル低群に関しては、発言抑制行動生起過程において「適切性考慮」の方が「否定的結果懸念」よりも先に位置づくことを示唆する結果が得られた。本年度の成果の一部は、平成18年度の日本心理学会大会および日本社会心理学会大会において発表される予定である。

The sequence of "relevance consideration" and "negative result suspense" is discussed. The result of the action, the potential time of the action, and the number of returns are related. The result of the action is consistent. In the process of occurrence of suppression action, the method of "relevance consideration" is "negative result suspense" and the method of "first position" is "negative result suspense". This year's achievements include the 18th Japan Psychological Association Congress and the 19th Japan Social Psychological Association Congress.
