项目摘要

本年度は、(1)武満徹の映画音楽の個々の作品分析、(2)日本における映画音楽研究の確率に向けての武満研究の貢献、という2つの目標に基づき、研究を進めた。(1)「武満徹の映画音楽の個々の作品分析」については、とくにコンサート音楽の先駆けとしての邦楽器の使用やミュージック・コンクレートの適用という点で、武満の映画音楽の代表作として名高い「怪談」(小林正樹監督、1964年)を取り上げて研究を行った。小泉八雲の手による「怪談」の原作における西洋人から見た「東洋」の表象を音で表すため、武満がいかなる工夫を行ったかを、「音作り」「映像と音の非同期性」「東洋のアニミズム」の3点から分析した。武満の「怪談論」をまとめるため、ニューヨーク大学附属図書館で、小泉八雲関係の英文資料を収集し、論文執筆の一助とした。(2)「日本における映画音楽研究の確立に向けての武満研究の貢献」については、武満が影響を受けた映画音楽作曲家である伊福部昭や早坂文雄の作品、また武満と同世代である佐藤勝などの作品研究の動向を調べ、日本における映画音楽研究の確立に貢献するものとしての武満の映画音楽研究のモノグラフ完成に必要な知見を得た。また、平成17年12月には、ニューヨーク大学東アジア研究科・吉本光宏助教授主催の「キネマ倶楽部」という日本映画の研究会のシンポジウムに参加し、映像と音の諸問題に関する最新の研究について研鑽を積んだ。研究発表としては、日本ポピュラー音楽学会全国大会が平成17年11月に弘前大学で行われた際、映画音楽のシンポジウム「インダイレクト・ナラティブズ:音楽と映画をめぐって」の1パネリストとして、武満徹の映画音楽研究を中心とした、映画音楽研究の動向についてまとめ、発表を行った。本年度の研究成果としては、ロンドンのEquinoxという出版社から今秋出版予定である、Music to Die By : The Music and Sound of the Horror Film (provisional title) Edited by : Philip Hayward and Rebecca V.Leydonという映画音楽研究の論集に、'Sound and Music in Kwaidan'という論文を掲載し、上記の「怪談」研究の成果を発表する予定である(論文要旨が受理。出版社とは契約完了)。

This year,(1) the analysis of the works of Takeshi's film music,(2) the contribution to the research of Takeshi's film music in Japan,(3) the purpose of the research, and the progress of research. (1)"Analysis of the works of Takahashi's film music," a representative work of Takahashi's film music,"Strange Talk"(supervised by Masaki Kobayashi, 1964), was selected for research. Koizumi's eight clouds hand "strange talk" of the original text,"a lamp" of the appearance of the table,"Wu Ji" time line,"sound work","image and sound of non-synchronization","a lamp" of the three points of analysis. Wu Jun's "Strange Talk" is a collection of English data about Koizumi's relationship with the University's affiliated library and a paper writer. (2)"Contribution to the establishment of Japanese film and music research to the study of martial arts," in which the influence of the film and music composer was received, the works of Akio Ifukube, the works of Fumio Hayasaka, and the contribution of the film and music research to the establishment of Japanese film and music research to the completion of the study of martial arts, the necessary knowledge was obtained. In December 2017, Assistant Professor Mitsuhiro Yoshimoto, Department of Oriental Studies, Heisei University, urged the "Department of Photography" to participate in the latest research on various issues related to photography and sound.
