2005年度の前半は、昨年度までに実施してきたドイツ語の心態詞ja, doch, schon, dennの音響分析の結果、考察をまとめ、一冊の著書を作成するための執筆作業を主に行った。その際、専門家(音声学者)との打ち合わせをドイツ・ハンブルク大学にて実施し、今後の出版に関する打ち合わせを行った。この著書は、2006年中に完成させ、出版する予定である。本年度は、新たにドイツ語教材における心態詞の分析を行い、心態詞の韻律的特徴をドイツ語学習という観点から考察し、2005年9月に福島大学で行われたドイツ語教授法関連のワークショップにて口頭発表を行った。さらに、2005年度夏より、昨年度末に開始したドイツ語の心態詞schonの聴覚実験のデータ収集を引き続き行った。この聴覚実験では、昨年度末に独自に作成したプログラムを用い、ドイツ語母語話者にPC上で音声(心態詞schonを含む短い文)を状況文(コンテクスト)なしで聞いてもらい、心態詞schonの意図として可能な4つの状況(1)確信、2)制限つきの肯定、3)反論、4)「すでに」という時間的副詞の機能)を提示し、この中でどの状況が最も適切かを選んでもらった。被験者として日本在住11名とドイツ在住6名の合計17名のドイツ語母語話者に聴覚実験への協力をお願いした。このうちドイツ在住の母語話者については、2月中旬にドイツ・ハンブルクに滞在し、大学関係者よりデータ収集を行った。なお、2月初旬にイタリア・ローマで開かれた「ドイツ言語学会議」にて、一連の聴覚実験の中間経過報告を口頭発表で行った。その際、これまでの聴覚実験の結果高い正答率が得られた音声資料については、より詳しい音響分析を行い、韻律的特徴のうち、どの要素が、心態詞schonの的確な意図を表すのに決定的な要因となっているか、調査した。
