Faculties of Engineering Niigata, Nagasaki, and Toyama Universities started entrance examination systems and supplementary lessons specially geared to the educational background of Technical High school students. Our "Engineering Education Systems" are originated from these entrance examination and supplementary lesson systems and intended to investigate the new engineering education program, which raises students studying by themselves because of their deep emotional experience on manufacturing. We, three universities, believe that this kind of engineering education requires the curriculum includes both "on the job training" and "book learning". So, we started some exercise programs aiming the problem-based learning and idea contests for their products three times a year in all three universities. We also started two co-operational graduation research programs within three universities. We have also investigated the so-called "remedial education" programs and collected some video lessons as the e-learning software. We hope we can create the common sense or platform for engineering education from our education program. We prepared the high-speed communication links between three universities and used it for organizing the TV meeting and lecture programs. These programs are originated and organized co-operationally by "Engineering Education" centers in three universities, which have been established for investigating the new engineering education program and exchanging our results. We believe that our education program has universality, which cannot be expected by the single university program, and so applicable to other universities
