First of all, we examined the aspect of a basic research of this research. First, did the development of the science relate to what industrial technology and what scientific thought? Secondarily, in what system of the research and development was the science developed? We clarified these aspects in the case histories on that.(1) We took up the research of the Langmuir in the United States, the heat radiation research of Paschen in Germany, and the research of Einstein's quantum theory and the research of Klein's mathematics as a research intended for Europe and America.(2) We took up scientist's role in Japan Society for the Promotion of Science under the war and the mathematics research of Takeo Konno and the activity of the natural science section of the materialism society as a research intended for Japan. We considered a present trend of the science and technology policy and the change in the science research system in Japan.(3) Moreover, we inclusively considered the development of a physical science of the 20th century by the relation to the scientific thought.(4) We took up a technical composition of the computer, the development of the microelectronics research, and the development of the robot technology as a result of the technological history field.(5) We invited the guest speaker. We deepened consideration of the cause of the delay of the modernization seen in the research system in east Asia, and the research circumstances of the history of the science & technology, and the research of the history of physics in modern Japan.
