近年、我が国の医療保険財政は、少子高齢化の進展に伴って厳しさを増して、医療費の削減が大きな課題となっている。度重なる診療報酬及び調剤報酬制度の変革に伴い、保険薬局では後発医薬品の使用促進策、処方期間の長期化に伴い、医薬品の在庫量増加が著しい。さらに医療財政難の進行に伴って行われる調剤報酬の切りつめ、薬価差益の喪失により、1万品目を超える医薬品の在庫管理と運用にかかる経費、労力及び時間は、保険薬局ばかりでなく医薬品卸を含めた医療業界全体の問題となっている。本研究では、保険薬局での処方せん応需に対応するための医薬品の在庫管理において、在庫管理体制に関する現状調査を行い、適正な医薬品在庫量の範囲を算出する手段について検討した。【アンケート調査:調剤薬局における医薬品在庫管理状況の調査とデータ分析】北海道(本学の近隣地域及び道内)の調剤薬局に対して、薬局業務における在庫管理及び関連業務の作業に関する状況を確認するためのアンケート調査を行った。本結果から、アンケート調査の集計等を行い、学会発表を行った。また、報告内容に関しては、現在論文投稿準備中である。【調剤薬局データの収集及び分析】薬局の協力を頂きながら整理している段階である。データ収集及び整理でき次第、協力薬局へは、研究内容に関してコンピュータ及びプレゼンテーションソフトを用いて説明する。しかしながら、今回の回収したデータは、残念ながらデータの公開及び回収に課題が多く、当初目的としたシュミレーションまでは、到達できなかった。
