本年度は、まず算数を中学校数学に接続する上での実践的授業研究の方法論について検討を行った。具体的には、デザインリサーチの方法論と呼ばれるもので、大学研究者、現場教師、さらには他の研究協力者たちが協働しながら、デザインを開発し、実践し、反省して、再デザイン化を図るとともに即時的・回顧的な質的分析のプロセスの中から、科学的知見を抽出する方法である。この成果は、日本数学教育心理研究学会で発表を行った。次に、Educational Studies in Mathematics誌掲載論文において、小学校高学年の教材として、等分除の一般化としての小数の除法をとりあげ、それを算数から数学への移行教材として捉え直し、そのデザインに関して実践した授業過程を分析して、子ども達の中学校数学へ向けた論理的発達の様相を明らかにした。さらに、包含除の一般化としての小数の除法に関してデザインリサーチの点から授業開発研究を行い、データを収集した。また、その一部に関して子ども達の学習過程を分析し、算数から数学への移行の様相を検討した。その結果、小数の除法を割合概念の理解を促進するように展開したとき、中学校の関数学習への接続の道が開かれることが示唆された。以上のことと昨年度の研究を通して、算数を中学校数学に接続する為の理論的基盤としての教授学的状況論と記号論的連鎖の過程、実証的研究の方法論としてのデザインリサーチの方法論、具体的内容としての等分除の一般化場面と包含除の一般化場面における小数の除法の学習過程および中学校数学へ向けた子ども達の思考の高まりの様相について総括し、研究のまとめとした。
