项目摘要

本研究の目的は,学校内に既にあるコンピュータネットワークを活用した環境のモデルを提案し,そのモデルに基づいた環境を実際に構築・評価することである.この目的を達成するために,実際の学校現場で必要とされている管理支援ツールや,様々な授業で使える実際的なアプリケーションを提供し,よりコンピュータネットワークを活用するための,例えば他校や小中学校間のコンピュータネットワークを活用した交流の事例などを通じて,実践的な知見を得て,それらを広く公開することで,現実的な改良・改善の促進を図る,我々は,これまでに学校内でのネットワーク利用に関するネットワークポリシを提案し,そのポリシに基づいた校内ネットワークの管理を支援するシステムを構築しており,また小学校低学年でも利用できるパスワード入力インタフェースの提案を行っている.また,総合的な学習の時間での利用を前提とした遠隔動画通信を利用した発表学習支援システムの構築も行っている.これらの結果を踏まえ,本研究ではこれまで構築・評価してきたシステムの改良・改善を行い,統合化を行う.さらに,学校現場の教員との連携を通じて,学校現場に密着した現実的かつ実践的なシステムの構築を進め,システムに反映させる.この目的を実現するために,平成18年度は,システムの設計と開発,評価を行った.同時にこれらの成果を国内で積極的に発表を行った.その成果を以下に示す.(1)校内ネットワーク管理システムの機能検討校内ネットワーク管理システムを容易に利用できるために必要な要件を検討した結果,現実的な小中学校における授業において,ファイル配布・回収が容易にできるシステムの開発・改良を行った.(2)校内ネットワークを活用した授業を支援するシステムの検討・構築・評価校内ネットワークが積極的に授業で活用されていない現状を踏まえて,学校現場の教師の意見を収集し,同時に関連する文献や製品の調査を行った.その結果,学校現場で利用されている授業支援システムの多機能さが教師を混乱させ,教師のコンピュータを利用した授業を阻害させていることが判明した.そこで,本来の目的であるコンピュータを活用するための教師支援,および授業支援システムの検討を行い,試作システムを構築した.さらに構築した試作システムを教育現場に持ち込み,試用評価を行った.
