本年度は、前年度までに各地の図書館や研究機関において蒐集してきた明代八股文関係資料の整理を行い、『明代八股文資料目録(稿)』の作成を行った。当初の目的では、作品名と作者名から資料を検索できる索引的な書物の作成を企図していたが、試行錯誤の末、最終的には(影印資料も含めて)日本に現存する明代八股文の撰集の中から研究に有益であると思われるものを選定し、それらに収録されている作品の目録を集成するかたちのものとなった。本目録(稿)に収載した撰集は、『挙業正式』(尊経閣文庫)、『翰林評選歴科四書伝世輝珍程文墨巻』(蓬左文庫)、『墨巻選』(尊経閣文庫)、『皇明歴科程墨名山業』(同)、『歴科程墨文室十帙』(同)、『歴科程墨餘選四函』(同)、『当湖先生評選先正制義一隅集』(公文書館)、『可儀堂一百二十名家制義』(同)、『明文得』(四庫禁燬書叢刊所収)、『欽定四書文』(四庫全書所収)の十種である。なお、この目録(稿)には「解説」を付しており、その中において、明代八股文の確立時期の問題や程式の問題を中心にやや詳しい考察を行っているほか、明代八股文研究資料をめぐる問題や八股文研究史について簡略な考察を行っている。さらに、本年度は、明代における八股文をめぐる文章観の変遷について、正徳〜嘉靖年間以降、特に万暦年間から崇禎年間に至る時期の八股文の形式と内容の変容過程を分析し、八股文の作者が重視する観点が、明末に向かうにつれて、どのような要因によって、どのように変化していったのかという問題について、いわゆる古文との関係を中心に研究を行ったが、論文等にまとめるには至っていない。今後、考察をもっと深めて論文等のかたちにして発表したいと考えている。上記に加えて、明清時代において、八股文を作成する上で必要となる基礎的な知識と教養を提供したと考えられる「永楽三大全」について初歩的な考察を行い、今後報告者の明代八股文学史研究を発展させてゆく上で有益となるであろう知見を少なからず獲得することが出来た。

This year, compared with the previous year, local libraries and research institutions collected and organized the relationship data of Ming Dynasty eight-part essays, and prepared the catalogue (draft) of Ming Dynasty eight-part essays. The original purpose is to create an index of books and articles, including the name of the author, the end of trial errors, and the final end of the index (copy data included). The existing Ming eight-part essays in Japan are useful for research, selection, and integration of works catalogues. This catalogue (manuscript) contains the collection of works, the official work of the imperial academy (Zunjing Library), the collection of works of the imperial academy (Pengzuo Library), the selection of works of the imperial academy (Zunjing Library), the collection of works of the imperial academy (Pengzuo Library), the collection of works "The Four Books"(published in the Four Books Collection) and "The Four Books Written by the Emperor"(published in the Four Books Collection) are divided into ten categories. The catalogue (draft) contains explanations, questions and problems concerning the establishment period of the eight-part prose of Ming Dynasty, detailed investigation, research data on the eight-part prose of Ming Dynasty, questions and problems concerning the history of the eight-part prose.
