项目摘要

【研究の意義と目的】ムーブメント教育論は時代が変わり教育における背景やニーズが変化しても、英語圏の体育カリキュラムに根強く位置付いてきた。ムーブメント教育論は体育において内容を明確に示したことがカリキュラム上の特性であるが、本研究ではムーブメント教育論の内容を規定した要因とその特徴を明らかにすることを目的とする。【結果及び考察】前年度の研究結果から、英国から伝わったLabanのムーブメント概念が内容を構成する重要な因子となったことが明らかになったが、米国のムーブメント教育論者であるKirchner、Schurr、Logsdon、Grahamらの提示した内容を検討した結果、Labanと同様の因子がみられた。それは、ムーブメントの質、エフォート(effort)、空間(space)、関係性(relationship)、時間(time)、流れ(now)、力(force)の点である。また、身体への気づき、運動技能、基本的動き、移動の動き、その場の動き、操作の動きといった因子はLabanと異なっていた。前年度の研究結果より、ムーブメント教育論が米国で発展するにあたり、体育学分野のヒューマン・ムーブメントの考え方が発展を支えたことが明らかになったが、米国では、このヒューマン・ムーブメント考え方の一部が内容に入り込み、Labanの因子と混在して内容を構成していることが明らかになった。【研究の限界と今後の課題】今回の結果では、因子を表面的に分析したに留まったが、より詳細に英国の内容と米国の内容とを比較するためには、哲学的基盤や理論を含めてLabanのムーブメント概念を再検討する必要がある。今回3月に、申請時の予定を変更してロンドンのLabanセンターを訪れたが、そこで入手した文献を参考に今後研究を進めていきたい。
