项目摘要

本年度もインドで二週間の現地調査を実施した。ベナレスのナーガリー・プラチャーリニー・サバーとガヤのマガダ大学が所蔵するヒンディー詩論書の4写本(Ram Sahay,Sukhdev Mishra(2作品),Jani Biharilal)のマートラー韻律の定義の部分の書きおこしの作業を完成させた。これらの写本はSivanandana Prasadaによってヒンディー韻律の歴史上重要とされながらもこれまで出版されておらず、この作業のヒンディー韻律研究における意義はきわめて大きいといえる。今回の科学研究費内ではできなかったが、今後の課題として、書きおこしたテキストを校訂して出版したい。ヒンディー韻律のそれぞれの詩形の法則をプログラミング処理用に符号化する作業を完成させた。三年間に蓄積したヒンディーのマートラー韻律の主要詩形の朗読をAudio Archiveとして、また主要なヒンディー作品の電子テキストをText Archiveとして専用サーバー上で公開した。国立インド文学協会主催のInternational Symposium on Indian Poeticsで招待講演として口頭発表した。発表では、ヒンディーのマートラー韻律の発展を論じたうえで、中世ヒンディー文学作品『ラームチャリットマーナス』を例に上げ、そのマートラー韻律の特徴を今回の科学研究費補助金を用いて蓄積した電子テキストのデータの分析から明らかにし、このような電子テキストのデータ分析による韻律研究がテキストの校訂においても重要な意味をもたらすことを指摘した。
