1、京都国立博物館所蔵の「温泉寺縁起絵」に関する論文・図版解説および補論を発表した。媒体が複数に分かれてしまったが、掛幅縁起絵のモノグラフ的研究を最終年度内にまとめることができた。今後の課題としては、豊富な細部図版と関連文献史料とを備えた、研究基盤となる資料集にまとめることにあるが、論文発表を通じて、そのための諸課題を洗い出すことはできた。2、京都市・奈良市・飯田市周辺ほか所在の掛幅縁起絵および仏画・肖像画・宮曼荼羅などの作品調査を行なった。3、調査写真のスキャンと整理を行い、新規のトレース図として「空也上人縁起絵」「石清水八幡宮曼荼羅」を若手日本画家と共同して制作した。4、昨年度より始まった学習院大学人文学研究所の研究プロジェクト「中世寺社縁起絵の総合研究」に加え、今年度からは基盤研究(B)「中世寺社縁起絵の総合的研究」が採択され、これらに参加することによって、美術史学・思想史学などとの共同研究が動き始めている。適切な評価は相応の方面から仰ぐが、基礎的な作品研究と絵画史料論的な検討を通じて個人的な力量を高め、より発展的な研究に資するという本課題の研究目的は、大筋で順調に進んだものと考えたい。
