英文摘要

Because of a lack of documents, we have considered the French Constitution of 1795 "bourgeois" and "reactionary" too easily. We tried to collect and edit fundamental documents about this Constitution. Through these studies, the Constitution of 1795 is characterized by the principles like "government by independent individuals as citizens" shared by all the Constitutions of French Revolution.
