Because of a lack of documents, we have considered the French Constitution of 1795 "bourgeois" and "reactionary" too easily. We tried to collect and edit fundamental documents about this Constitution. Through these studies, the Constitution of 1795 is characterized by the principles like "government by independent individuals as citizens" shared by all the Constitutions of French Revolution.

由于缺乏文件，我们太容易认为1795年的法国宪法是“资产阶级的”和“反动的”。我们努力收集和编辑关于这部宪法的基本文件。通过这些研究，1795年宪法的特点是具有法国大革命所有宪法所共有的“独立的个人作为公民的政府”的原则。
