项目摘要
本研究は、ライデン国立民族学博物館所蔵の、1830 年頃の日本の町家模型を通して、近世の町家に関する従来の理解を、西欧人の目という新たな視点から見直し、再構築することを目的とする。模型は、実際の町並みを切り取ったのではなく、代表的な町家を組み合わせていた。つまり出島の西欧人は、特徴的な町家に着目し、生業・職種により町家の形式や生活空間が変化することを正確に理解していた。
This study is based on the model of Japan's town home in 1830, the understanding of the modern town home, and the new perspective of Western Europeans. The model is composed of two parts: the modelつまり出岛の西欧人は、特徴的な町家に着目し、生业·职种により町家の形式や生活空间が変化することを正确に理解していた。
