平成19年度は、1ヶ月未満の海外調査渡航を1度おこなった。2007年7月、インドネシア共和国、中カリマンタン州、カハヤン川源流におけるトゥンバン・マリコイ村にて、カドリ語(ドホイ語の別名、以下同様)の母語話者との対面調査をおこない、カドリ語の一次資料を収集した。この調査渡航は、以下に述べる研究成果をあげる上で必須かつ重要なものとなった。2007年11月の言語学会において、「カドリ語における重複的構造」と題する口頭発表をおこない、カドリ語を中心としてオーストロネシア諸語の重複や繰り返しに関する記述一般化をおこなった。これにより、今まで十分わかっていなかったカドリ語の重複的構造を明らかにするとともに、オーストロネシア諸語の重複的構造の研究をおこなうための基盤づくりに成功した。また,平成16年からおこなってきたカドリ語研究の成果の一部として,平成19年には「カドリ語」、「カドリ語における語中の閉鎖音と破擦音」と題する2本の論文を発表した。これら2本の論文のうち、前者はカドリ語の文法の全体像を把握するためのもので、後者はカドリ語がこうむった特異な音韻変化を実証する論文である。これら2本の論文は、オーストロネシアの周辺諸言語や世界言語の視点からカドリ語を捉えており、個別言語の記述として、深い意義をもったものである。平成20年3月には、カドリ語の文法と辞書とテキストから成る博士論文、「カドリ語-ボルネオ島のオーストロネシア系言語の記述ー」を京都大学大学院文学研究科に提出した。この博士論文により、現在まで未解明のままであったカドリ語を言語学的に記述し、カリマンタンに分布するさまざまな言語を記述するための基盤の整備に成功した。

This paper is about the language of the world, the description of individual language, and the meaning of deep language. Ph.D. thesis on grammar and lexicon of language, presented by Graduate School of Literature, Kyoto University. This doctoral thesis has not yet been explained. It has been successfully prepared in the field of linguistics.
