项目摘要

本研究の目的は、これまでに明らかにされてきた、集団内の社会的交換における相手からの搾取的行動に対する「恐れ」(他者の協力に対する信頼の欠如)が、集団を超えた交換場面においてどのような役割を果たしているのかを、心理的・制度的側面の両面から検討することにある。従来の実験研究では、社会的交換における非協力行動には、利己主義的動機からの非協力行動と、他者からの非協力行動を予期するために起こる自衛的な非協力行動の2つがあり、後者がより重要な規定因であることが示されている。本研究では、この後者の「恐れから生じる非協力行動」が、集団内よりも集団間で重要な役割を果たすと考え、実際にどのような集団間関係においてこの恐れの効果が見られるのか、またどのような制度的解決が有効であるかを、実験とシミュレーションにより検討することを目的としている。本年度は、他者からの搾取に対する「恐れ」が、具体的に他者の持つどのような特徴を手がかりとして生まれるのかをより精緻に検討するため、交換場面および相互作用場面における参加者の様子を撮影した。そしてその撮影データを、撮影された人物とは別の集団の参加者に呈示し、交換場面において協力的にふるまった人物が、別な集団の成員から信頼に足る人物であると評価されるか否かを検討した。この結果の一部は国内の4つの学会(社会心理学会、日本心理学会、北海道心理学会、実験社会科学カンファレンス)および国際学会(The 20th Annual Meeting of the Human Behavior and Evolution Society)においても報告している。また結果の一部を学術誌(心理学研究)に投稿中である。さrないこの結果をもとにシミュレーションを行い、実験で得られた値との比較を行っており、現在その成果を論文として整理している。
