项目摘要

1.人材育成プログラムの開発・評価母子保健人材育成プログラムとは、2003年9月から2008年3月の期間、ミャンマー農村部で要件を満たした女性保健ボランティア(Women's health Voluntary Group,以下WVGとする)を参加型アプローチで育成する過程である。プログラムは育成段階に応じてI期(創設期)、II期(維持・継続期)、III期(自立期)に分類され、4年半でWVGが当該地域を担当する保健職員と協力し地域母子保健を支援する役割が期待された。WVGは対話を重視したミーティング、ワークショップ、トレーニングを経て徐々に言動が変化し、エンパワーされた様相が認められた。本年度はプログラムの成果評価として、プログラム介入2村とコントロール2村においてWVGの活動に関する知識・意識を比較する横断調査を実施した。対象は15〜49歳で5歳以下の子どもを持つ女性188名で、訓練を受けた現地女性面接者が、UNICEFの調査票(MICS)に基づき作成された質問紙に沿って対面式に面接を行った。分析にはSPSSver.14.0を使用し、統計的検定を行った。結果、周産期の異常症状や避妊法の知識、負傷時の応急手当や環境衛生の知識の獲得及び意識の向上は、介入村の方が優れていた。WVG育成から4年を経ているが、初期段階に得た知識が実践され、生きた知識として活用されていることがわかった。2.プログラムの持続可能性指標の探索本プログラムの持続可能性指標の探索にあたり、訓練を受けた現地女性面接者がインタビューガイドに沿って、村長、保健職員などのプログラム関係者及び裨益住民計33名へ半構成的面接調査を実施した。面接記録を質的記述的に分析した結果、今後WVGがコミュニティ内で薬剤供給に果たす役割が、プログラムの持続可能性に影響を与えることが示唆された。

1. Development of Human Resource Development Program for Maternal and Child Health During the period from September 2003 to March 2008, the Rural Ministry requested the participation of Women's Health Volunteer Group (hereinafter referred to as WVG) in the development process. The WVG is divided into four stages: development stage I (establishment stage), maintenance stage II (maintenance stage), self-supporting stage III (self-supporting stage), and four and a half years.
