英文摘要
We developed a palmtop-sized total analysis system by using MEMS technologies. The, obtained results are in the followings.(1) We constructed the dynamic model for beads handling, and cleared the relationship between the interface tension and the magnetic driving force. The scale effect for the handling was also explained in the research.(2) We developed the fabrication process of analysis devices by MEMS technologies. The devices were fabricated by the silicone resin, and their all surface was coated by the parylene film to form the hydrophobic nature.(3) We confirmed the biochemical treatments, reaction, extraction, and dilution, on the developed devices by applying magnetic beads handling. We also developed the agitation performance by controlling magnetic field, which was modified by the multilayered flat coils.(4) We confirmed the performance of biochemical reactions by applying the enzymatic reaction, and finally developed the palmtop-sized system by using rotational driving mechanism.
