刑務所、民間薬物依存社会復帰施設で、薬物依存症に対する認知行動療法プログラムを実施し、有効性を検討した。1つの刑務所では有効性が明確でなかったが、その他の2つの刑務所、1つの民間社会復帰施設では、プログラム施行により、薬物依存に対応する自己効力感の上昇、参加者によるプログラムに対する高い満足度などが認められ、その有効性が示唆された。また施設間の比較により、施設の特性(入所・外来等)や対象(重症度や合併症)を考慮したプログラムを組む必要性が示唆された。
