我々は、抗GM-CSF自己抗体を基盤とした肺胞蛋白症(PAP)診断のアルゴリズムを確立し、国内PAP患者の集積を行った。新潟大学と国立病院機構近畿中央胸部疾患センターで症例データベースを作成(248例)、米国シンシナテイ子供医療センター等と国際共同疫学調査として解析を行った。わが国初、世界最大規模の特発性PAP(多くは自己免疫性PAP)の疫学データを発表し臨床像を明らかにした。更に欧米と共同で国際登録及び比較を開始するに至った。

We have established a baseline for the diagnosis of pulmonary proteinosis (PAP) with anti-GM CSF antibodies and a collection of PAP patients in China. Niigata University, National Hospital, Central Chest Disease Center (248 cases), National Medical Center (248 cases), International Joint Epidemiological Survey (248 cases) At the beginning of this year, the world's largest special PAP(multiple-immune PAP) epidemic has begun to show clinical signs. The European Union and the United States have agreed to a joint declaration.
