项目摘要

本年度は、1つの共通するインターネット上の地図を複数の団体が使用でき、必要に応じて複数の団体の情報、すなわち異なるテーマの情報を重ね合わせて表示して議論できるようなシステムとした(=18年度成果)、インターネット上の双方向・開放型の地理情報システムである「カキコまっぷ」(以下、新カキコまっぷ)を、複数の団体で試用して、システムの意義・課題を検討した。具体的には、東京都23区全域を対象とするベースマップ(地図)を用意し、子育て支援関連の情報を発信している「ママパパぶりっじ(せたがや子育てネット)」、世田谷区若林地区でまちづくり活動をおこなっている「若林マップを作ろう!」プロジェクト、東京山手線程度の広さを対象として自転車に関する情報交換をおこなっている「東京バイカーズ」の3つの既存のカキコまっぷ使用団体の情報を「新カキコまっぷ」に再掲載し、さらに範囲全域を対象とした「何でも投稿」、文京区本郷地区を対象とした「本郷マップ」の2つの新しいレイヤー(=テーマ)も設定し、東京23区を対象とした多層型のインターネット地図型掲示板の運用実験をおこなった。結論として次の3点が明らかとなった。1点目は趣味的な自転車とベビーカーといった日常では同じ場面で議論することが少ないテーマが1つの地図上に掲示され投稿者が相互の情報に触れることで特定の場所・事象に関してこれまでには発想しづらかった新しい観点からの考察が可能となった。2点目は、対象範囲が共通でテーマが異なるインターネット地図掲示板を想定して研究を進めたが、個別テーマを扱う団体にとっては他の情報に触れたいという動機が低く、本システムに対する満足度は高くなかった。また、3点目として、使用できる地図の範囲は東京23区全域であったが、個別団体が扱う範囲はそれぞれ異なることから、システム利用初期に表示される地理的範囲の設定についての自由度が課題となった。
