性交渉に付随して生ずる可能性のある計画外の妊娠や性感染症に対して、大学生はその危険性をどのように感じているか(リスク認知)を測るための質問項目群を開発するとともに、その質問項目の妥当性、信頼性の評価を行った。「リスクの身近さ」、「コンドームの外的効力感」、「予防行動をコントロールする自信」、「コンドーム使用当然」の4因子に基づく10項目の尺度を作成した。さらに追跡調査により尺度の妥当性・信頼性を確認した。
