项目摘要

i:固有名を用いたコミュニケーションと指標詞を用いたコミュニケーションの比較:ここでは、指標詞の理解を知覚に基づいた概念・思考(自己中心的概念)によって説明するエヴァンズ、レカナティらの理論を取り上げ、そこで見られる構造が、固有名の理解と前年度までで検討した固有名を用いた独自の概念・思考(固有名概念)の間にも見られるということを論じた。とりわけ、固有名の理解は百科事典項目と呼ばれる情報獲得経路の持続に依存しないタイプの概念と結びついており、指標詞の理解は情報獲得経路の持続に依存した概念である自己中心的概念と結びついているというレカナティの対比に対して、固有名の理解を、固有名概念という情報獲得経路依存型の概念と結びつけた上で、固有名の理解と指標詞の理解の対比は、それに関わる概念が情報獲得経路依存的か否かではなく、情報獲得経路の違いに求められると論じた。ii:空名に関する直接指示論の妥当性の検討:ここでは、空名は実は指示対象を持っていると考えるタイプの理論を二つ検討し、そのそれぞれの問題点を指摘した。一つは空名の指示対象をマイノング主義的非存在対象とする立場であり、これは、命名儀式における対象の選び出しができないという認識論的な問題を抱える。二つめは空名の指示対象を文化的人工的な抽象的対象と晃なす立場で、これは空名ではない名前、特に真なる科学理論に現れる名前に関して間違った予測をする点で問題を抱えている。iii:単文における代入の問題と、意味論/語用論の区別、インターフェースの検討問題の:ここでは、命題的態度、様相、引用に関する表現を含まない文=単文における同一指示固有名間の代入が真理値を保存しないという直感は、意味論レベルで説明すべきだとするムーアらの理論を、意味論/語用論の区別、インターフェースの問題と関連させて論じた。
