ラオスの2基幹病院における院内感染のエビデンス調査を教材とした「感染看護教育プログラム」を開発した。プログラムの内容は、(1)施設の管理者からなる感染対策チーム支援組織の構築、(2)看護師を中心とした調査チーム(実働チーム)の組織、(3)入院患者の感染徴候・症状の調査、(4)感染部位の特定、(5)検体採取、(6)検査結果のフィードバック、(7)(3)~(6)をふまえたディスカッション、(8)感染ルートの特定、(9)感染ルートに沿った感染対策策定であった。この教育プログラムは院内感染の実態を強く意識付ける効果があり、概念の理解および対策樹立に貢献できる。

A survey of nosocomial infections in two primary hospitals was conducted and a teaching material entitled "Infection Care Education Program" was developed. The contents of the list include: (1) establishment of infection control group support organization by the administrator;(2) organization of investigation center for nurses;(3) investigation of infection characteristics and symptoms of admitted patients;(4) identification of infection site;(5) sample collection;(6) identification of investigation results;(7) identification of infection site;(8) identification of infection site;(9) infection control strategy. This education process contributes to the awareness of the status of nosocomial infection, the understanding of concepts, and the establishment of strategies.
