本研究は、組織の環境負荷情報および環境会計情報の有効活用と、客観的な環境情報分析手法の開発による比較可能性を担保した組織の環境活動評価といった両面より、環境効率指標を用いて、組織の将来にわたる経済活動および環境活動の戦略的なシナリオを描くシステムを考案することを目的としている。本研究の平成19年度の研究実績は、以下の2点にまとめられる。(1)環境効率指標に関する国内外の最新事例の動向調査(2)環境効率指標の要因分解の理論面・実用面の補完とその検証のためのケーススタディ評価の実施まず(1)については、国内企業が発行している環境報告書(CSR報告書などを含む)や、既発表の文献や論文などの研究事例を分析し、近年の環境効率指標の動向について整理した。その結果、近年の国内企業の環境報告書中の環境情報の分量や割合が減少しつつある一方で、主要な企業活動のパフォーマンス指標として継続的に導入されており、その多くが経年的に評価指標として運用されていることが分かった。次に、(2)については、実際に複数の業種における情報を収集すると共に、本研究で提案する枠組みを用いた環境効率指標の要因分析を実施した。具体的には、複数の企業の環境負荷情報、環境会計情報と財務会計情報をもとに、各業種の代理指標として、環境効率指標を3つのサブ指標に要因分析した上で、経年的な変化に関する分析を行った。この際、サスティナビリティ・コミュニケーション・ネットワークの環境部会・環境経営指標研究タスクチームなどでの報告や議論を受け、ストック指標となる環境投資額と、フロー指標となる環境費用の切り分けを行い、環境投資額を分割した減価償却費を含む環境費用のみでの分析を行うこととした。これは、環境効率指標で対比させる環境パフォーマンスの指標がフロー情報に限られていることに整合させたものである。以上をもって本研究で目的とするシステムを構築した。

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's environmental load information and environmental accounting information, to evaluate the feasibility of the development of customer environmental information analysis methods, to evaluate the effectiveness of environmental performance indicators, and to evaluate the future of the organization's environmental activities. The results of this study in 2019 are as follows: (1)(2) Analysis of the latest case studies at home and abroad concerning environmental efficiency indicators;(1) Analysis of the theoretical and practical aspects of the decomposition of the main factors of environmental efficiency indicators;(2) Analysis of the environmental reports (CSR reports) issued by domestic enterprises;(3) Analysis of the research cases of the published documents and papers; and (4) Analysis of the recent trends of environmental efficiency indicators. As a result, the content of environmental information in the environmental reports of domestic enterprises in recent years has been reduced, and the main indicators of enterprise activities have been introduced, and the evaluation indicators have been applied for many years. Second,(2) the analysis of the main factors of the environmental efficiency index of the proposed group was carried out. Specifically, environmental load information, environmental accounting information and financial accounting information of a plurality of enterprises, agency indicators of each business, environmental efficiency indicators, and key factors analysis are included in the annual analysis.
