前年に続き,古代中国の総音節表「聲音韻譜」を対象に調査を行った。この資料は南宋の祝泌によって編まれたが単独で伝わる例は知られず,祝泌の手になる『起数訣』に付録せられている。前年度は目録に「聲音韻譜」の名がみえるものについて調査を行ったが,今年度は付録の有無を記さない場合も調査対象とし,結果,中国国家図書館所蔵の明抄本と清抄本,また人民大学所蔵の明抄本に「聲音韻譜」の付録を確認し,資料を実見のうえ内容について調査した。他に曲阜文物管理委員会所蔵という明抄本にも「聲音韻譜」の含まれる可能性があるが,実際に所蔵されているか不明で,また委員会は所蔵文物を研究者の閲覧に供しないこと,地元の大学の教授に教示を受け閲覧は断念した。今回いくつかの資料を実見することができ,多くの有益な知見を得ることができた。特に明抄本と清抄本との内容的傾向の違い,あるいは類似が比較的に明確な形で把握されたのは大きな収穫であった。また抄本それぞれに大きく抄写の体裁が異なっていて,底本となった「聲音韻譜」にあったであろう状況をほとんど無視していると思われる本もあり,比較的に後出の『四庫全書』本にみられる幾つかの規範を逸脱する内容が,あるいは筆写過程におけるある種の杜撰さによってもたらされたという可能性をも示唆するものと思われた。調査時期が遅れたこともあり,今年度中の成果発表は見送らざるを得ないが,研究上の確かな進展が得られた如上の調査に基づき,さらに具体的な整理,検討作業を進め,来年度中にはまとまった形での公開を行う予定である。
