研究代表者の研究関心は近世朝鮮における交通、即ち人と物の動きにある。交通のあり方を探るためには交通路そのものについて知る必要がある。しかし学界は未だ朝鮮近世史資料にみえる地名の現地比定を学術的水準で行い得るだけの歴史地図を持っていない。本研究では朝鮮歴史地理研究の基礎的作業として、関連資料の所蔵・刊行状況について調査した。また既刊史資料にみえる朝鮮近世の地名を収集し、その現地比定を行った上で当時の交通路の復元作業を進めつつ、その交通路を利用した人と物の動きについて考察した。

Research representatives are concerned about the transportation of modern Korea, that is, the movement of everything. Traffic is necessary. The academic community has not yet divided the data of Korean modern history into local comparison and academic level. This study is an investigation of the basic work of Korean historical geography research and the publication status of related data. The historical data of Korea's modern times are collected, compared and reconstructed, and the traffic routes are utilized.
