チャットなどの遠隔コミュニケーションにおけるセマンティックギャップ(ユーザの背景知識や状況の違いによって生じるコンテンツに対する理解の差異)を解消するためのマルチエージェントシステムを開発した. 伝達されるコンテンツの内容をセマンティックWebで用いられるRDFで表現し, エージェントがこれを参照することでユーザの背景知識に応じてコンテンツを適切な形式に変換して提示する方式を提案し, 試作システムを構築した.
