A study on the influence of social support in bringing-up children among foster parents.

本研究旨在探讨社会支持对养育子女及养父母情绪耗竭的影响。问卷邮寄给所有城市地区（札幌市）和农村地区（北海道内除札幌市外）的登记养父母。通过统计分析发现，社会支持度高的养父母群体情绪耗竭倾向较低。此外，农村地区寄养父母情绪衰竭的影响因素，在儿童谘询处发现“有一个可以分享感受的人”。

This study examined how social support would influence on bringing-up children and emotional exhaustion of foster parent. The questionnaire was mailed to all the registered foster parent of the urban areas (Sapporo city) and the rural district (within Hokkaido except Sapporo city). As a result of statistics analysis, the group of foster parent that has high social support was found to have a tendency to low emotional exhaustion. Moreover, the factor that influences on emotional exhaustion among the foster parents in rural district was found 'to have a person whom one can share the feelings' at a consultation office for children.
