Gjb2 transgenicマウスのOHCの運動能における発達変化は、野生型マウスおよびnon-transgenicマウスの変化と同等であることが示された。このことから、Gjb2 transgenicマウスでDPOAEが測定されないP14においてもOHCのelectromotilityは存在するが、何らかの障害を受けていることが推察された。
