The Origin of Prehistoric Burials on the Islands

本研究通过对德野岛战斧遗址的考古研究，分析了琉球群岛的史前墓葬制度。研究表明，该棺体主要由珊瑚灰岩构成，以仰卧位和多类型结构为主，并在珊瑚礁环境中获得了多用途的配件和丧葬用品。然而，据估计，该墓葬系统并非封闭于环境，而是通过长途贸易通过同步信息安排的。

This study analyzes prehistoric burial system in the Ryukyu Archipelago through archaeological research on tomachin site on the Tokunoshima Island. The study reveals that coffin are made of coral limestone, and supine position and multiple type structure are a main burial style, and multiuse accessories and funeral goods are obtained from coral reef environment. However, it is estimated that the burial system was not closed to environment, but it is arranged by synchronous information through long distance trade.
