国際結婚夫婦のコミュニケーション態度に関する質問紙調査を、国際結婚夫婦並びに日本人同士夫婦に対し実施した。その目的は、日本における国際結婚夫婦のコミュニケーションに対する認識の特徴、特に外国人妻の認識の特徴を明らかにし、これに家族社会学の見地を加え、国際結婚夫婦における「多言語共生」「対等で互いの違いを認め合う夫婦間コミュニケーション」を目指すことにある。具体的には、国際結婚夫婦のコミュニケーション態度に対する認識の特徴を、日本人同士の夫婦と比して明らかにし、コミュニケーション態度とコミュニケーションに対する印象・情動との関連性を探る。質問紙は、日本語版のほか、英語版、中国語版、韓国語版、ポルトガル語版、スペイン語版、タイ語版を作成し、対象者が回答しやすいよう配慮した。質問紙は、山梨県を中心にその周辺の市で配布した。回収されたデータは、入力・集計した。今後、分析を進め、論文としてまとめる予定である。
