I have compiles the findings of my research trips to Paris and New York in the form of a book. Titled Design Management of Global Firms (Gakubunsha Co.,Ltd.),my new work offers a glimpse at the history and recent examples of design management by Japanese and international firms, and attempts to construct an overall theory about them. Another one of my major projects during the year was to produce a Japanese translation of Design Management by Professor Brigitte Borja de Mozota of Paris (with the new addition of examples from Japanese firms and charts) and have it published by Doyukan Inc., under the title of Strategic Design Management. In addition to these works, my research results have been presented in two books, three journal articles, and three papers at conferences.
