本研究では、介護サービス情報公表制度システムで公開されているデータを集計、分析することにより、サービスの課題を析出している。居宅介護支援(ケアマネジメント)サービスをとりあげ、神奈川県の全県データを使用した。神奈川県においては、平成18年度に1,289の居宅介護支援事業所に調査が実施され、1285事業所の介護サービス情報が公表されている。本研究の総合的所見では、「サービスの内容に関する課題」より「事業所の運営状況に関する課題」に抽出項目が多い傾向が見られた。アセスメントシートの作成など日々の業務の中心となる作業については行っているが、その業務の改善、効率的運営、コンプライアンス的側面について十分でない事業所が多いことが明らかとなった。居宅介護支援の事業所は日々の業務に追われ、サービスの質の改善、組織運営について考慮、実施する時間と余裕がない状況が示唆されている
