単一サイトCPAによる希薄磁性半導体の電子状態計算に、クラスター埋め込み法により局所環境効果を取り入れる計算機プログラムを開発し、磁性不純物間の磁気的相互作用への影響を調べた。その結果、特に第一近接原子間の磁気的相互作用が局所環境効果の影響を大きく受けることがわかり、不純物の配置によっては磁気的相互作用が符号を変える場合もあることが示された。しかしこの効果は磁気的なパーコレーションのために系のキュリー温度には大きく影響しない。
