今年度は，フランスのフレネ中等教育実験クラスの訪問追加調査と戦後初期より生活教育実践を継続してきた愛知教育大学附属岡崎中学校の訪問調査・インタビュー調査を実施予定であったが，新型コロナ・ウィルスの感染状況により断念し，学校法人きのくに子どもの村学園と自由の森科学園中学校・高等学校の訪問調査のみを実施した。なお、コロナ禍のなかで、日本の学校では「子ども一人一台端末」の実現により、デジタル化が急速に進み、ともすれば授業中の対話・討論が端末のなかでの交流に置き換えられかねない状況がみられた。しかし、学校法人きのくに子どもの村学園や自由の森学園中学校・高等学校、ヴァンスのフレネ学校では、コロナ禍による制約があるものの可能な限りリアルな対面での対話・討論に拘る実践がいた実践されていた。また、愛知教育大学附属岡崎中学校では、「端末を配布した当初には、対話・討論の場面で学習支援アプリなどを用い、生徒が端末をのぞき込み話し合う授業もみられ多少混乱したが、すぐに端末は生徒の調査や調査内容の整理・発信などの場面で必要な場合にのみ活用され、必要に応じてプロジェクターの画面で情報や考えを共有しながら対話・討論をすすめる元の形に戻り、落ち着いた」という。対面でのリアルな対話・討論の意味と可能性、その実現のために端末をどのように活用していくのかについて、実践をもとに整理する必要が明らかになったといえる。来年度に学校法人きのくに子どもの村学園のインタビュー調査を中心に実施し、リアルな対面での対話・討論の可能性について整理する予定である。
