项目摘要

本研究は、日本の看護基礎教育課程における認知症看護教育の現状と課題を明らかにした上で、海外の先進的な教育について、特に認知症看護に特化した教育の構成（カリキュラム）と教育手法について情報を得て、看護基礎教育課程修了時に求められる認知症看護実践能力（コンピテンシー）を明らかにし、これらの成果に基づき、看護基礎教育課程における認知症看護の教育カリキュラム案を構築することを目的としている。令和4年度は、看護の基礎教育課程において、高齢者看護分野のほか、在宅看護分野や精神看護分野において認知症看護の教育が行われていることを踏まえ、教育の現状を収集した。高齢者看護分野では、認知症に焦点を当て生活機能の障害についてのアセスメントのほか、コミュニケーションや倫理的な課題など、認知症ケア全般に関わることを総合的に教育する必要性が述べられたが、教授する時間不足の課題もあげられた。一方、在宅看護分野では、在宅で療養する様々な人の一人であり、在宅生活での特徴、その継続の視点が実践を通して教育されることがあげられた。精神看護分野では、高齢者看護分野との教授内容を分けるため、若年性認知症に焦点を当てることが多いことがあげられた。また、倫理的課題への対応や学生のストレス対処、多職種との協働などは基礎教育全体に関わる内容であることもあげられた。このような教育の現状もふまえて、我々が作成した「看護基礎教育課程修了時ならび卒後に獲得すべき急性期病院での認知症看護実践能力素案ver.1」で示したコアコンピテンシーについて、基礎教育全体で教授する必要があるコンピテンシー、高齢者看護分野で教授することが望ましいコンピテンシー、その他、在宅看護分野や精神看護分野と共通するコンピテンシーに分け、カリキュラムの素案を検討する。
