To enhance water resistance of silane coupling layer using ceramic surface or resin composite containing filler modifier at the dental restorative materials, the novel silane coupling agent was synthesized, and evaluated. From results, it was suggested to have advantage at dental materials that the novel silane coupling agents were kept water resistance for long term.
