The purpose of this study was to describe and investigate the relationships among social support, social support network, and psychological and physical states among elderly Japanese women with breast cancer. Psychological states significantly correlated with social support network and conflict. Stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that social support network was the most influencing factor on psychological states, followed by conflict. The findings suggest that conflict and social support network were important factors for the women's psychological states.

本研究的目的是描述和调查社会支持，社会支持网络，心理和身体状态之间的关系，在日本老年妇女乳腺癌。心理状态与社会支持网络和冲突有显著相关。多元逐步回归分析表明，社会支持网络是影响心理状态的最重要因素，其次是冲突。结果表明，冲突和社会支持网络是影响女性心理状态的重要因素。
