慢性閉塞性肺疾患(chronic obstructive pulmonary disease : COPD)は潜在患者が多く、発症予防や治療介入のためCOPDを早期発見することは重要な課題である。本研究では、COPDをより簡便かつ精度が高くスクリーニングできる症状に基づいた診断支援ツール(Symptom-Based Questionnaire : SBQ)の作成を目標にした。先行研究では既にSBQの候補項目となる11項目の質問項目の候補を選定しており、平成24年度は、これらから2項目を選定し、性別、年齢、喫煙歴を加えた計5項目のSBQ(新規SBQ)の開発を行い、プライマリケア外来にて新規SBQの検証を行う予定であった。項目の選定にあたっては、9名の呼吸器専門医もしくは総合内科専門医を選定しデルファイ変法を用いて最も臨床的あるいは質問項目として適切である項目を選定し、新規SBQの開発を目指すものであった。専門的意見の聴取や、昨今のエビデンスの収集のため、本年度は国内学会参加を行い、これまで作成した質問項目については新たな修正や追加は必要ないことを確認したごその後、新規SBQ作成のための専門医の選定、検証のためのプライマリケア外来の選定を行うところであったが、平成24年7月31日付で研究代表者が所属研究機関を辞することとなり、科学研究費助成事業の応募資格を失うため、本研究については継続困難であり、本事業廃止を申請するところとなった。
