幼児が日常的に交わす発話には幼児間の関係性が反映すると考えられる。なかでも「ね」発話(e.g.一緒に遊ぼうね、ね～仲間に入れて)は幼児にとって身近な発話である反面、情動や意図が暗黙的に込められることから、遊びや会話を成立させるには「ね」発話を間主観的に理解し、相手との関係性に応じた相互作用を交わす必要がある。そこで本年度は保育園の3歳児クラス20名を対象に1年間(各月2回)の参加観察を行って得たデータをもとに「ね」発話に着目して幼児間における親密性について検討した。まず「ね」発話を用いた相互作用と親密性形成との関連を検討した結果、呼びかけの「ね」発話により相手の注意を喚起し、語尾につける「ね」発話によって聞き手への配慮を示すことで、相手からの応答を引き出しやすくなり、二者間での間主観的な理解を促進することが明らかとなった。またこうした相互作用が親密性形成の基盤になると同時に、二者間での親密性の深化に伴い、第三者によって生起された事象に対する情動や意図についても互いの内的状態を間主観的に把握することを示した。さらに3歳児は「ね」発話を実際に使用し、相手の反応を得る中で「ね」発話の使い分けを獲得することを明らかにした。特に親密な二者間と第三者との間では、遊びの開始や内容を呼びかける「ね」発話に差異が認められた。また「ね」発話同様、3歳時期の会話に多用されている終助詞「よ」と比較した結果、自らの意図を明確に伝えたい文脈では「よ」を使用し、相手に配慮を示し、共感を得る中で遊びや会話の成立を図ろうとする文脈では「ね」発話を使用することが明らかとなった。よって3歳児は「ね」発話を手掛かりに互いの情動や意図を間主観的に把握するなかで親密性を形成し、相手との親密性やその場の状況に応じて「ね」発話を使い分けることが明らかとなり、「ね」発話が幼児間における親密性を捉える指標になることを示した。
