Hacitugrul Hoyuk, a large archaeological site (650 meters in diameter and 26 meters in height), is situated about 60 kilometers southwest of Ankara. In preparation for systematic excavations, in 2008-2010 we carried out archaeological surveys at this site. These surveys revealed that Hacitugrul Hoyuk was settled through all the phrygian periods (from the 9th to 4th century B. C.) and especially in the late phrygian period (from the 6th to 4th century B. C.) developed here a huge fortified city, provided with large architectural complex with complicated plans.

Hacitugrul Hoyuk是一个大型考古遗址（直径650米，高26米），位于安卡拉西南约60公里处。为了准备系统的挖掘，我们在2008-2010年对该遗址进行了考古调查。这些调查显示，Hacitugrul Hoyuk在所有弗里吉亚时期（公元前9世纪至公元前4世纪）都有人定居，特别是在弗里吉亚时期晚期（公元前6世纪至公元前4世纪），这里发展了一个巨大的设防城市，拥有大型建筑群和复杂的规划。
