A study of the system of adverbial particles found in the formative history of ancient Japanese

本研究取得了两方面的成果。一是清楚地展示了在近代以前的日语研究史上，含有状语助词的语法形式是如何被分析的。这是一个特别重要的成果，从今天的层面上指出了江户时期语法研究的创新性和可能性。另一种是含有状语助词的语法形式及其意义清楚地表明了它是如何形成的。特别是弄清了格标助词和状语助词上的形式的语义特征是一个有价值的结果。

There are two results obtained by this research. One is having shown clearly how the grammar form containing an adverbial particle has been analyzed in the history of the Japanese research before modern times. It is an especially important result to have pointed out the innovation and possibility of grammar research of the Edo period seen from the present-day level. Another is that the grammar form containing an adverbial particle and its meaning showed clearly how it is formed. Especially the thing for which the semantic feature of the form over a case-marking particle and an adverbial particle was clarified is a worthy result.
