Effect of estrogen receptor polymorphisms on clinical drug usage

探讨雌激素受体-β基因多态性对绝经期疾病和类风湿关节炎（RA）的可能影响。结果发现，CA重复多态性对甘坡药keishibukuryogan的敏感性有影响。另一方面，Rsa多态性与RA严重程度有显著关系。这些结果可能有助于改善基于性别特异性药物的临床用药。

To investigate the possible influence of the polymorphism of the estrogen receptor-β gene against menopausal disease and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). As a result, it was found that CA repeat polymorphism affected on the sensitivity to a Kampo-drug, keishibukuryogan. On the other hand, Rsa polymorphism was revealed to have significant relationship to RA severity. These results could contribute to improve the clinical use of drugs based on gender specific medicine.
