Study for oral-facial pain control mechanism by periodontal specific cells.

本研究表明，牙周组织中的某些成分细胞具有疼痛受体和已知的抑制疼痛的因子。本研究结果提示牙周组织成分细胞可能分泌抑制破骨细胞生成的物质。此外，本研究表明，一种已知可将牙周韧带细胞分化为成胶细胞的因子具有控制炎症和免疫的能力。

In this study, it was indicated that some kinds of component cells in periodontal tissue have receptors for pain and factors known to inhibit pain. The date in this study suggested the possibility that the component cells in periodontal tissue secrete inhibitors for osteoclastogenesis. Moreover, this study suggested that a factor, which is known to differentiate periodontal ligament cells into cementoblasts, has the ability to control inflammation and immunity.
