本研究は、現代企業の投資に関する意思決定を分析する際に考慮すべき二つの要因、(1)競合企業との市場での戦略的競争と協調、(2)経営と所有の分離に起因する経営者の機会主義を個別に取り入れたリアルオプション・モデルを設定し、不確実性下における投資と事業戦略の意思決定にそれらの要因が及ぼす影響を分析した。(1)の研究では、利潤の不確実性,市場の突発的な消滅の可能性,製品差別化の程度に依存して,二社の企業がそれぞれ先発企業と後発企業として市場へ投資する競争的な逐次参入に加えて,二社の企業が暗黙の結託を前提として市場へ投資する協調的な同時参入が生じる結果を得た。(2)の研究では、私的な価値を最大化する経営陣による投資の意思決定が,企業価値を最大にする意思決定と異なる可能性が生じる結果を得た。

This study analyzes the two main causes of rational decision-making related to investment in modern enterprises: (1) competition and coordination of competition and strategy in competitive enterprises and markets;(2) opportunism of managers, causes of separation of all kinds of enterprises; and (3) analysis of the main causes and effects of rational decision-making related to investment and business strategy under the conditions of individual access and uncertainty. (1)The research results show that the uncertainty of profit, the possibility of market sudden elimination, the dependence of product differentiation, the gradual participation of enterprises in the competition between advanced enterprises and later enterprises in the market investment, and the simultaneous participation of enterprises in the market investment coordination. (2)The study aims to maximize the value of investment, maximize the value of investment, and maximize the probability of rational decision-making.
