Structural basis of vesicle formation in endocytosis

内吞作用是真核细胞将胞外物质内化到细胞内的过程。这一过程在细胞表面受体内化和体细胞营养摄取等多种基本生理反应中起着重要作用。在本项目中，我们对synaptojanin、PACSIN2/Syndapin II、CIP4、FBP17、Cdc42和WAVE2复合物等内吞蛋白进行了结构和功能分析，揭示了内吞过程中囊泡形成的各个方面的结构基础。

Endocytosis is a process by which eukaryotic cells internalize extracellular materials into the cell. This process plays an important role in a variety of fundamental physiological responses, such as cell surface receptor internalization and somatic nutrient uptake. In this project, we performed structural and functional analyses of endocytic proteins, such as synaptojanin, PACSIN2/Syndapin II, CIP4, FBP17, Cdc42, and WAVE2 complex, and revealed the structural bases of various aspects of vesicle formation in endocytosis.
