本課題で開発したグリオキサール(CHOCHO)の高度分布導出法でMAX-DOASのスペクトルデータを再解析したところ、北京市・泰安市・横須賀市では大気境界層中のCHOCHO濃度が平均で約200pptvと高濃度であったことが分かった。つくば市と辺戸岬では80pptv程度であった。衛星データを組み合わせたところ、横須賀周辺では高濃度域は数十km以内、中国では数百kmの空間スケールで拡がっていたことが示唆された。
